like many, I am concerned re: botnets using my cameras for DDOS attacks... Many online authors have attributed the attack to Dahua firmware, (specifically see: https://digitalguardian.com/blog/attack-killer-cameras, https://www.malwaretech.com/2016/10/map ... study.html, http://motherboard.vice.com/read/15-mil ... rian-krebs, http://blog.level3.com/security/attack-of-things/)
Is there a default back-door password lurking somewhere in the firmware over which we have no control, and no way to change? If so, is a firmware update available or coming which may be installed to delete or disable this back door?
Thank you for your anticipated quick response!
