IP2M-841EB - IR light turning on and off.

Hello,

Just purchased a new system consisting of (2) IP2M-841EB cams on an NV1104E.

When it gets dark, one of the cams continuously switches it’s IR light on and off every 20-30 seconds.

Is this likely a setting issue, or is the new cam possibly defective?

Haven't been able to resolve this. Does anyone have any insight here?

Hello Quasimoto,

We could check some settings like the D&N sensitivity and adjust it. For this you need to access the web interface of the camera and it will not work if they are connected directly to the NVR.

Please try hard resetting the camera. For this, you need to press and hold the indicator light on the back of the camera for 10 - 15 seconds. The light will turn red and the camera will do its initial pan/tilt after this. You need to set up the camera once again after this as it will reset all the settings
