How can I view the captured files on the cam's SD card?
How can I view the captured files on the cam's SD card?
Just getting the cam set up. It seems to be capturing video and/or snaps to the SD card, as some memory is being used, but I can't find a way to access the files on the card from the software (only can format the card).

Hello MTBens ,
You should be able to play back from the cameras web interface from PC or even through smartphone. You can also use the Amcrest Surveillance Pro software on PC for play backs.

Re: How can I view the captured files on the cam's SD card?
Thank you for the reply - however, when I try through the Android app, I can only access files which I've saved manually - I don't see any way to access files which are saved through motion detection. With "Surveillance Pro" under "Storage" I can see three options: "Schedule," "Destination" and "Record Control." Under "Destination" there are options for "Path," "SD Card," "FTP," and "NAS." When I choose "SD Card" I can see that the card is half full, but I cannot find any way to access the card. So ... please give me a bit more help than just telling me that it can be done. Please explain how.
ALSO, is there a way that I can use Dropbox like an FTP storage?

Hello MTBens,
Yes you can set up the schedule there and choose the path as SD card. That should set up the recording to sd card. When you go to play back, make sure you click on the camera and select it before clicking the search option. The recording should show up in graphical view on the bottom and you can click on that to play it. Could you give us a call if you are still facing issues?
