Guaranteed - yes but only if you pay again!
The camera I bought earlier this year was RMA'd after spending some time with support connected to my system who finally decided it needed to be replaced. The SD slot on the replacement has failed and now I can't record except by ftp'ing to my NAS when I lose the first 5 seconds or so of video. Now they want me to pay $30 before the guarantee is honoured. As far as I'm concerned, I don't throw good money after bad.

Re: Guaranteed - yes but only if you pay again!
Resolved by a direct approach to Amazon where I bought the camera.

I really love this company's products. Not sure why did all of the sudden customer support disappeared. On the other hand I love the customer support at my favorite path of exile marketplace (if you know this game, it's where you buy/trade orbs and other type of currency, cheap unique items etc. you can find it over here: https://odealo.com/games/path-of-exile Would really love to review it a little bit more, but the best thing you guys can do is just see for yourselflongedge wrote:Resolved by a direct approach to Amazon where I bought the camera.

Customer support didn't disappear
they responded promptly *but* wanted me to pay $30 in order to proceed with the RMA procedure. I replied with a complaint saying amongst other things that I would also make my feelings known to Amazon. I did just that and within hours received notification from Amazon of a full refund. I was satisfied at that but then 2 days later I got an email from Amcrest offering to proceed with the the RMA free of charge. I replied that I had received a refund from Amazon and the matter could now be closed.
I'm now perfectly satisfied in fact I have bought another IP2M-841B camera and (up to now) I'm very happy with it. To be honest it works far better than the previous one ever did.

Re: Guaranteed - yes but only if you pay again!
I have very similar issue but I bought direct. I paid even though that’s a terrible business practice, but now can’t get my camera. I called and spoke live to them twice. Instead of handling my issue on the phone they said i would here from them by email. A month and still no camera. I wished they would express even 1cent worth of give a damn.

You have my sympathy - that's no help I know! All I can say is that I believe very strangly in being firm and fair. Say what you mean and mean what you say. I suppose I was lucky in that I bought through Amazon.
