Forum change request

In my opinion your Forum search criteria are too strict. I'm having firmware issues, with multiple models. I've entered 'firmware issues' or 'firmware problems' and your search function rejects my request citing that the words are too common. I see a lot of posts which seem to be firmware issue related. I'd like to be able to read what others are experiencing here. But having to enter every model and every variation of what model they may enter is ridiculous. I've also entered other search requests and received the same reply.

Are people really bombing this Forum with massive general search requests? How about relaxing the entry restrictions so we can better use this Forum?

How about they expend all their brain power on fixing the firmware bugs and worry about advanced forum search functionality later

Raptor, I agree wholeheartedly!! I've been looking for comments/solutions for several of my problems and every issue I search for gets kicked back as "too common". Too common, my butt! How else are you supposed to search besides using the terms for which you have problems??

AMCREST, listen up... If other web sites can provide thorough searches, you can too. It's especially necessary when you have products with as many issues as yours seem to have. If I have a problem with NVR web access allow me to enter "NVR web access" and do a search on that string. Don't kick it back saying "access" is too common!
