update: 2.420.AC00.18.R, Build Date: 2017-05-21 firmware fixed the issue. be sure to perform a hard reset following firmware update.

i like to report that the latest ip2m-841 firmware update 2.420.AC00.17.R, Build Date: 2017-03-22 has broken the night vision control functionality on two android apps.

affected android apps:
1. amcrest view pad pro.
2. amcrest view pro.

problem: following the 2.420.AC00.17.R firmware update and hardware reset, the night vision control button on the two android apps no longer controls the ip2m-841 night vision setting.

workaround: controlling night vision setting via direct ip web interface still works.

additional info: night vision control button, from the two android apps, still work for ip2m-841 on older firmware V2.420.AC00.15.R.
