Is this feature available? I only have indoor cameras (apartment), and don't want them recording while I'm home. I would prefer them to be off while I'm home. I only want them doing motion detection alerting / full-time recording when I'm away from home.
Is there a simple way to accomplish this that I haven't figured out? Right now I have a 24/7 schedule running motion detection / recording, but I'm manually flipping the power through a Belkin WeMo on/off switch, so I only turn it on when I'm gone.
I guess I could make a custom IFTTT recipe using my phones GPS to trigger the on/off function of the Belkin WeMo switch. Not sure how reliable or efficient that would be.

Follow-up question. Does Amcrest support or development know if hard cutting the power to the unit will shorten it's overall life?
I probably hard turn them on / off ~5-6 times a week. That's been okay for the few months that I've had the units.
