Failed to Connect

Post by juliajchen »

I have a Amcrest IP2M-841 ProHD 1080P. A few weeks ago, the iOS Amcrest app stopped connecting to the camera with a "Failed to Connect" error, but only when I am using cell data. The app connects to the camera without any problems via wi-fi (i.e., when I am home). I would appreciate any help in fixing this. Thanks.

Update: I chatted with Amcrest Support, and the tech told me that there are issues with T-Mobile, iPhone and Amcrest. The issue has been ongoing for about 2 weeks. Amcrest and T-Mobile are working to get the issue resolved, but no ETA at this time.

Can't connect either through wifi. Really tired of these constant "works for a week, doesn't work for a week" issues lately. Really starting to regret my purchase.

Any update on this issue? I'm also with T-Mobile and I recently purchased the IP2M-841 ProHD 1080P. On LTE it was not working, but suddenly started working for about 3 days and since yesterday, is not working again.... just on wi-fi. Very frustrating. Any suggestion (beside leave T-Mobile? lol...)
