Empty "my saved files" folder
Empty "my saved files" folder
Hello,i just purchased the ipm2m-841b,put a 64g micro sd card in,have gone to my saved files option, but its not showing any video files(it will show images tho!)but no video, but when i check "playback"motion is shown..but why isnt it shown in the "my saved files"folder on the android app?what is the saved files folder for?? also is there a way for the app to automatically start up with a specific camera, without having to select it from the device list every time to see live view??lastly are there any you tube videos showing how to use the windows amcrest surveillance pro program??its very complicated and the help pdf that comes with it is for a different version so doesnt show same interface buttons.thanks
Re: Empty "my saved files" folder
Hello nix,
The recorded videos on the SD card would be shown up under the playback option only. The "My saved file' option on the app is for images and videos that you manually save on the app using the record and snap icons on the live view interface of the app.
What you can do is add your cameras to favorites option and then open the app and go to favorites. It does not open automatically with the app.
Below video will give you an idea of the basic features and set up of the Amcrest Surveillance Pro.

Hello Melvin, thank you for the swift reply, and the link,it really didnt go into much detail tho...i got the email alerts working yesterday, one thing i noticed it that the time is wrong on the emails, even tho i synched it to my pc clock, why is that?!also i turned off notification via the app at night, only to continue getting them, the only way to stop them was to go onto my pc and turn them off via the web page, why does the app not work for that?bit inconvenient to have to go on pc everytime to turn them off,and why have the option to do it on the app when it doesnt work?
Re: Empty "my saved files" folder
Anyone care to reply to my questions from above??

Hello nix,
If then issues you are facing is with email header showing wrong time, this is an issue we are working on. As for Push notification not turning off, please ensure that you save the settings on the phone once you disable the notification. When you go to Push notification settings it should say disabled against the cameras.

Hello again melvin, yes it is with the time shown when you open the email(it shows date: and time to: then priority:)and that is where the time is wrong, also i did make sure it said disabled by the side of the camera, but still got notifications afterwards...the only way to turn it off is via the pc amcrest pro program,Also,im using the smartplay player, when i go into export window, the screen is blank except for a picture of a camera with a line through it,when you press play nothing happens the only dials that work are the start and end time, all others are grayed out why is that??video plays fine in the play window tho, except that the timeline counter numbers disappear randomly!Melvin wrote:Hello nix,
