Download videos in Amcrest View Pro
Download videos in Amcrest View Pro
How do I download recorded video clips in Amcrest View Pro to save to my phone? There is a record button when viewing the video. But this is not what I want.
Re: Download videos in Amcrest View Pro
After using record in android View Pro you can play it in the My Saved Files tab, or use a file manager program to find the recorded video which is in the snapshot folder. Its a .dav file so use MX Player to play it on android, or Amcrest Smart Play on PC to view or convert it. I don't know about IOS.
Re: Download videos in Amcrest View Pro
1. When I use the record button, does it record from the main stream or extra stream? My main stream is set at highest quality. My extra stream is set at much lower quality. If something happened and I need to send the video to the police, I want to send a video with the highest quality.
2. My wifi at home is slow. So when I view the video, it plays back in very slow motion. 2x and 4x speeds are still slow. 8x speed is too fast and it skips frames and jumps from frames to frames. So the video will be recorded at one of these speeds and none of them is good for me.
3. Amcrest Cloud app can download the video, but the video quality was already downgraded when it was uploaded to the cloud. So I don't want to use it.
4. It's so frustrating that the recorded videos are stored on the SD card but I can't just download them to the phone. Why can't they add an option like Amcrest Cloud to download the videos?
5. Is there another way to download the original videos on the SD card? Can Amcrest Web View on the PC download them?
