Doublewide Wireless Camera Help Choosing
Just need some input on which wireless cameras to get. I have a double-wide so no attic access to hide the wires. Was looking at the IPM-723S and IPM-723W. Are these the same just different colors. Also, if I read right you can use a home PC or laptop as a DVR and all I need to order is the wireless cameras ? Any help would be much appreciated. I also thought of getting a wired one with DVR and putting in my garage and hooking it to a router I use as a repeater so I could access it from my house. By putting the DVR in the garage and the cameras on the corners I would have views of all my property. So if I go wired can I plug the DVR in to the router with Ethernet cable. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Yes the IPM-723S and IPM-723W are the same model , its basically just the color. These cameras are good but if you need better resolution go for IP3m-943. All these models support Sd cards up to 64 GB which you need to purchase separately. Yes recording can be set up on PC with the Amcrest Software.
When you buy the DVR you need to buy the whole package as the cameras does not work on their own unlike Ip cams. Also the wiring from cam to DVR is coaxial. When you buy ip cam like IPM723 you can but one or two individually and set them up on your phone etc.

So I can use the software with the IPM-723 or IP3-943 and record with my PC. If I buy the coaxial cams(wired)I need to buy the DVR ? Is this correct. Also can I add as many IP cams as I want using one PC to record.Thank you for your reply.

Yes that is correct for both. You can add any number of cams (a max of 16 in normal situations ). The specs of the computer and network speed matters the most when you have multiple cameras.
