Delete video directly from web interface

Post by gba88 »

Hi,
I have an Ip2m-841 that has been recording a LOT of false motion due to being above a furnace vent that triggers it with the steam.

I've given up on solving the issue since it would likely involve disabling motion detection completely. I am now looking for a way to delete video directly from the camera WITHOUT having to format the card. It seems like it would be very easy to have a "delete" icon beside each video in the web interface. This way, I could preview on the camera and delete the false positives after I've checked each. As it currently stands, I'm having to manually review all video and then format the card. I really would like to get away from formatting the card so much since flash memory has a finite life cycle.

Are there any plans to be able to do this in future firmware releases? It seems like a huge oversight, and doesn't seem that complicated. I'm talking about having a little delete button next to each video playback button. Any plans for this or anyone know of something I may be missing here? Thanks!

Hello gba88,

Currently this option is unavailable and the format is the only option. Thank you for the feedback and I will keep the concerned department posted on the same so we have this in our 'things to add' list. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
