Changing Write Path / SSH into a camera ?

Post by lubbs »

I have my cameras writing to a FTP server, it currently writes to \\Camera name\date\dav\hour\minute and in there there are multiple Minutes folders. I would like to change the write path to exclude the hours and minutes as i can have the files named the time they are recorded. Also is there a way to SSH or telnet into the cameras and view their settings ?

Pretty sure the telnet port is open, but as far as credentials I am not sure. If they wont answer you could try the many combos for other camera firmwares that can be found with a quick google search. I have not done this yet as I have not had time but its worth a try.
