Can't save storage record schedule

Post by mclemens »

I have 3 IP2M-841B cameras. On one of them I can modify and save the "record schedule" under the storage item on the left menu.

On the other 2 cameras each time I make any change in the schedule and try to save it the save fails. This happens regardless of the change I try to make. It could just the start time or stop time for any day or the type (general, motion or alarm).

All of the cameras use the same firmware - 2.420.AC00.15 R Build:2016-09-08.

Any ideas on how I can get the schedules to be saved.

Thanks

Hello mclemens ,

Foe the cameras that do not save, click on the 'Reset Defaults' option under storage > Schedule and save it . If this does not, please try hard resetting the camera. For this, you need to press and hold the indicator light on the back of the camera for 10 - 15 seconds. The light will turn red and the camera will do its initial pan/tilt after this. You need to set up the camera once again after this as it will reset all the settings

Yes, this worked, but it's a pain in the ass to have to go back through completely setting up the camera again.

If I did a reset and them imported the saved configuration file would that also work? This would be better but still not perfect because no everything is saved in the configuration file.
