1) What diameter hole should be drilled into the soffit for the camera cable to fit through the hole for the 720p system?
2) Do you folks offer rubber plugs for the cable holes that will wrap around the cables once they have been pulled through the access hole?
3) What is the diameter of the cable? It would be nice to know so I can purchase the correct size tubes or cable covers for aesthetic purposes when running the cables alongside ceilings or down an interior wall. If I have to bundle all four cables of the 4-camera system, what diameter is that 4-cable bundle?
4) Also, my cable runs may be over 100 feet. What extension cable should I buy for the 720p system? I assume these connect seamlessly to the provided cables. Will there be any significant signal degradation by using the extension cables?

Re: cables for the 720p system
Hello,
1)To comfortably drill a hole that will fit all of those cables through, you will need a hole that is 1-inch to 1 1/2-inch big.
2)No, we don't offer any rubber plugs.
3) They are about 7mm.
4) They are available for purchase through our website. There are extension cables of varying length. They can go up to 984 feet.

Re: cables for the 720p system
I used the 150' cables from Amcrest and the signal quality was poor, I would plug in the cameras and the image was clear for 1 second then go grainy.
I purchased a spool of RG59 and Ideal BNC connectors and ran all new wires. I now have perfectly clear images and recordings. The Amcrest cables over a long run just don't work. Trust me, you don't want to install twice like I had to.

Excellent recommendation -- What did you use for the connectors/supply brick on the power side of the RG59?muzzyelk wrote:I used the 150' cables from Amcrest and the signal quality was poor, I would plug in the cameras and the image was clear for 1 second then go grainy.
