Amcrest Link app "failed to open"

I have been using the Amcrest Link app for sometime. It has been very reliable. Recently, however, i cannot do playback. The apps finds alerts and shows footage is available but the play operation fails with "failed to open" message. I have tried reboot of the system. has anyone else had this issue? realtime viewing works just fine for all cameras in my system

Hello tz0zk6,

Are you able to play back fine directly from the DVR? If so try deleting the app and reinstall it on your phone and see if it helps.
