Amcrest Cloud 4 hour free plan

Post by Hdhead »

I have been using the free 4 hour storage option for the last couple months. It has now stopped showing any recorded motion. Is there a time limit how long you can use it without upgrading? Can't find anywhere that says that.

Any one using the 4 hour free plan? Does it expire after 2 months?

Hello Hdhead ,

No it has no expiry. There is a limit of two hours/month for live view but it holds recordings for last four hours at any point of time. Please try removing the camera from cloud and add it again.

Please not that deleting and re adding will require a camera reboot and also the previous recordings would be erased.

Thank you this worked, but why does the camera lose the playback ability on the cloud? We have a camera at our vacation place that has done the same thing. However we can't fix it because there is no one there to reboot the camera. This is when we want it the most when no one is there.

Interesting, the cloud playback for the vacation place camera started working again today after nothing for the last 2 weeks. I did nothing to prompt it to work. Guess the cloud has a mind of its own.

Go to Setup>System>Auto Maintain to setup a Auto Reboot on a specific day and time of day and/or Auto Delete Old Files

Don't see this option in neither the camera nor cloud app. Is this something you need a computer to do?
