4 Hours AMCREST Storage
4 Hours AMCREST Storage
Does the freebie 4 hour AMCREST storage mean the last four hours or four hours of total recording. By four hours of recording I mean that, if my camera is set for motion detect, would the cloud have four hours of recording even though the recorded timeframe could be, say, a couple of days?
Re: 4 Hours AMCREST Storage
Hello dljone1,
The cloud free plan is basically for testing purpose only. So it can only hold recordings of the last 4 hours. Not total of four hours of video but whatever footage it has for the last four hours.

Re: 4 Hours AMCREST Storage
Hi Melvin,
I can only get motion-activated video for the past 4 hours. If I turn off motion detection, no video is recorded at all.
I wonder if there's a way to continuously record the last 4 hours, regardless of motion?
Thanks!

Re: 4 Hours AMCREST Storage
If I purchase a 7 day or 10 day plan, do I get continuously recording (like w/ a SD card), or it is always motion-activated with 30 seconds max each time?
Re: 4 Hours AMCREST Storage
Hello milan27,
The cloud does not support continuous recording. It can only do motion activated clips of 30 seconds.

Re: 4 Hours AMCREST Storage
If I get a 2nd (or more) camera(s), is it 4 hours per camera or 4 hours overall?
Re: 4 Hours AMCREST Storage
Hello dljone1 ,
Its 4 hours per camera. But the free account only allows you to add just one camera.
