Dual windows on MacOs?

Post by redcoat »

Hello!

first post here.

Am running ASP on Mac mini, with dual monitors.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to create 2 windows, 1 with 7 and 1 with 9 cameras. Seems like it should be easy to do, but nothing seems to work!

Please help!

cheers, David

I haven't tried this, but here's an old YouTube video purporting to show you how.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I’d seen that but it doesn’t work on my install. Clicking + and live view doesn’t open more that one tab.

No idea what changed and why.

Are you able to open one of the other functions in its own window? E.g., click "+", click "Devices" and drag the resulting tab.

I can get the Live View to open in another window by dragging it out...but then can't create another instance of Live View. I can have the home page on one monitor, live view on another...but I can't open another Live View in the first monitor!

Are you able to create a second Live View tab before dragging the first?

Hello again,

No I am not. I’ve tried clicking on different buttons and in different order, but have not found a way to open 2 windows with cameras in each.

What I'm wondering is if you are able to create a single window with two "Live View" tabs. E.g., when I'm on the home screen and click "Live View" , "+", "Live View", I get this on Windows 11 Pro:
