AD110 Recording while watching live feed?

First time I noticed this, but it was just a random check in.

I was logged in to the app and saw an Amazon van parked in my driveway on the thumbnail, so I switched to the live feed. Watched the amazon delivery driver walk halfway up my driveway and then throw my package to the steps.

I went to show my wife what happened, but there was no video recorded on the SD Card. I have it set to record with motion detection, but it seems like watching live prevents the motion detection triggers, and thus didn't trigger a recording.

Is that correct? Is that how it works? Is that how it "should" work? Thanks in advance!

i just did a test to see if motion detection recording still works while watching live view and the result says 'yes.' the motion detection recording is working even when watching live view on the smart home app.
