Recently purchased the 1080p WIFI camera and have a few problems.

1. I am able to view the live feed via the desktop application but can't replay recorded files (motion detection files). When I click on the playback tab and then view the files, I can see them listed, but when I click on them they do not play. I tried downloading them and they do not download either. I tried viewing in Internet Explorer and Mozilla neither will work.

2. I have tried to record live video through the desktop application and the icon will show that it's recording but the files do not show up in the file section.

Any help would be appreciated.

1) While opening the browser, right click and select run as administrator and check if playback works. If that does not work, try using the Amcrest Surveillance Pro software and it should play back the videos.

2) If you want to record videos to the PC, the best option is to use the Amcrest Surveillance Pro software.
