Application: Amcrest Windows app version 2.420.AC00.11.R, build : 2016-01-06

Sequence: Setup->Camera->Video->Path
Live Record path is set to a local folder on my hard drive. This was the default location.

Sequence: Live->Record
This creates a .dav file in the above folder on my hard drive.

So far I have been unable find a way to playback this .dav file.

What is the purpose of this file and how can it be used? Is there a way it can be viewed?

This option is if you want to manually record videos to your computer. Usually the recording is set up with an SD card and you can easily go to the play back option in the web interface and play them back. In order to play the .dav files that are created, please use the 'Amcrest Smart play' software.

I would love to use Smart Play but Webroot finds the Win32.LocalInfect2 trojan. Can you please clean this file or replace it with a non-infected copy please?
