Does anybody know, what format is used by IP4M-1055E for files stored on FTP server?
Is it only DAV, or does this camera support MP4 that can be opened with regular movie players?
I need something that is well supported on Linux, and DAV is absolutely terrible to work with...

I have an IP4M-1055E and it records video in MP4 for files saved over FTP. Tested with the current latest firmware V2.460.AC01.0.R (06/26/2018).

Videos are still saved in subfolders named "dav", but they are indeed .mp4 files within that folder.

Thanks! It's good to hear!
