Hi there I have the ip2m-841eb indoor camera, and recently deleted it from my NVR, now I am tryng to add it back but its asking for the password, which I cannot remember .

I have tried resetting to factory default via the reset button at the back of the camera but no matter how long I hold the button in it does not go red.

Any advice on this please?

Hello Stundre ,

Please ensure you are holding the reset button firmly with the camera powered on using your nails, otherwise, you will not get a good grip on the button.

If that is not working, the reset button could be damaged.

Thanks for the reply, I really hoping that it is just I am not holding the button firmly in enough. I have only had the camera about 6 months now, I have tried pressing the button with a pin, and have even taken the bottom off of the camera as well.

I will try again this afternoon.

I finally got it to work, I had to take the bottom off of the camera and press the reset button then, seems as if the bottom cover was preventing it from making contact.
