windows media player problem?

I have the 1201 game cam. When I try to play back some of the movies on my PC, I get "windows media player encountered a problem while playing the file" and If I click on it- I get led to information about error code COOD11B1...

On my computer, this was due to not having the codec needed to display the video. The mising codec was "Intel H.264". I installed the free K-Lite Codec Pack from
https://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm (the Basic version was sufficient), and I was able to see the video after restarting windows media player.
