snapshot CGI - the endless not usable story

Hello,
I have an IP2M-841B and with some good discussions wit the support which also caused the "new" Firmware 18R release last year.
BUT e.g.: "http://ip-address_of_cam/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?chn=1&u=[user]&p=[password]" or "http://user:PW@ip-address_of_cam/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?chn=1" is not working!
it was announced, that also a snapshot should be possible soon, without interrupted by a user/pw dialogue for usage of snapshots in jpg for an e-mail or chat bot usage. But the development seems not to understand the issue or ignores the support colleagues.
With different other cameras this is working! The commands are different of course, but you can directly retrieve a snapshot just with an http-command. With Amrest always an extra dialog is required. No option to prevent this!
So if you want to use a flexible camera, integrate it into the home automization, than do not select Amcrest.
If you only use the Amcrest App or e.g. a Synology surveillance camera the picture quality is good.
For me it is now lost money.
