Hello Amcrest,

I just want to give you a heads up that the new firmware that's on your page as of now has a bit of a flaw. When upgrading my 720P Tribrid with that firmware, it added a new feature where the camera has options for Image Enhance, 2D and image noise reduction. However, it only has that option for one camera. When you chose a different camera, those options disappear. Also, the one that has the new features also sends a bigger snapshot in e-mail. All the others looks as if they were shot through a fish eye lense. I will add images with what I am referring to. (It won't allow me to add more then 3, but you will get the idea from the 3 pictures attached.

This firmware bricked my 720P DVR. They pulled the firmware after I spoke with them, not sure if they put it back up.

Their firmware bricked my 720P also. I have a post in this forum about it. They have serious issues with their firmware. It's apparent they are not doing a good job of testing prior to releasing the builds. Not sure the logic, but they need to get this under control or they will NOT get repeat business. Also, they are out of 720 dvr until the end of January, so if their firmware bricked your system, you're SOL until then. I won't buy another Amcrest system.

Fortunately it didn't brick mines but it's weird now that I receive picture alerts and one camera picture is nice, big and clear but the other 3 are like small and fish-eyed. It has something to do with the other cameras missing those image enhance features. I'm surprised Amcrest hasn't responded yet to my post... well judging by the lack of replies on other posts, I'm not surprised lol. I will upload the picture difference in a follow up post.

Follow up photos: Notice how nice and big camera 1 pictures are because of those image enhance features. Without those image enhance features for the other 3 cameras, this firmware is useless.

Amcrest? I'm seriously thinking of using my tax returns and switching companies.. time is running out...

Apologize for the delayed response. I will report this issue to our R&D. To confirm the issue is with snapshots on email alerts, right? Is it possible for you do a factory reset and try again to see if that makes a difference? For this you need to go to Settings > System > Restore Factory settings.
