it appears that this company cannot answer the question about the plugin for your ip cameras to view in firefox chrome or ie.. nothing works but you keep telling people to download the plugin.. it does not work.. will it ever work? I just bought a dozen cameras and i can see them on my mobile app but I want to see them on the computer. WILL IT EVER BE FIXED?

Working fine for me using IE 11 on Windows 10? What exactly are you experiencing when trying to install or use the plug-in? If you could provide some details of your problem maybe we can help sort that out.

It doesn't work. Keeps asking to install plugin over and over. Are they ever gonna fix this?

The NACL Web Plugin works perfectly for me with Chrome in fact it is the only way I seem to have full access to everything I routinely want from one interface e.g. setup/live view/playback. All work as they should. It's a shame that the Wi-Fi is so flaky.
I don't use Chrome normally and it took me a little while to realise that I could click on "Apps" and then open the plugin directly (otherwise you get the install plugin challenge everytime).

The plugin works in a very half-ish manner for me with Chrome. When it asks to install plugin (every single time I view on chrome) then I get a new chrome window and can type in camera IPs and access them through that new window only.
I can't figure out Chrome settings to eliminate this repeat behavior but I CAN view the cams in chrome. I prefer using the software to view the cameras though. Took some trial and error to get everything going and connected but my 6 cameras are viewable, searchable and controllable through Amcrest Surveillance Pro.

When you run Chrome, you should see an icon and link top left (icon is 9x9 coloured dots) to "Apps". If you click on that it will show you the plugins that have been installed in Chrome. Assuming you have already installed the plugin, "NACL Web Service" should be there. Click on that and a new window opens. That's the one to use for your login and viewing. It took me a while to work this out. I haven't found a way to go straight to the plugin without opening Chrome first.
I find that this is the best interface for my camera and have only found one shortcoming. I have a 4K monitor running at native resolution which makes things too small. I use Windows display settings at 150%. The plugin can't handle this when setting the motion detection area but Amcrest Surveillance Pro does so I use that for this single purpose.

Phew, semi-relieved to see this thread. I just bought a IP2M-841B and can not get it to work on either IE <SHUDDER> or Firefix 54.0.1
Firefox: I get the control panel but no picture from the camera and it keeps prompting to download the plugin, which it does, but then doesn't install it, only downloads it.
Winblows IE: interface starts and I DO get a picture from the camera but the picture is almost full screen and I can't get to the controls window.
Ass with everyone else, it works ok on my android phone.
I guess I should have researched a bit more before buying this turd.

After trying all the attempts to resolve listed, we tried IE (not Edge) and it worked fine.

I had a similar issue. Fortunately, Melvin provided me with the fix:
- 1) Go to C:\Program Files\webrec\Torch\3.0.0.3
2) Select the WebActiveX.exe file.
3) Right click, select “Properties” then on the “Compatibility” tab, check the box “Override high DPI scaling behavior”, “Scaling performed by” then select “Application”.
I would never have figured that out on my own!
