SD CARD NOT SHOWN ON CAMERA PROGRAM

I have just purchased a Amcrest IP2M-841 ProHD 1080P Camera
I inserted an SD Card (2GB) card. I opened the camera program and went to menu: Storage/ Destination.
The SD Card does not appear listed.
Can anyone help?

Hello robertolito,
Please ensure that the card is slotting in properly. The metal pins should be facing upwards while inserting the card and there should be a click when it fits in. Please try another card to rule out any camera defect.

Thanks. Finally worked after I did a Reset of device.

Where do you see the SD card on the program ? I can't get my new cameras to record

I just noticed my SD card has disappeared from the listing last night while I was playing with my network settings. I'm thinking it was from the firmware upgrade I did a couple month ago because it was working fine before that. Maybe I will try a reset tonight...

Hi Noirish,
Please try a reset and see whether this is getting listed. in most of the cases, reset after an upgrade is an option for fixing issues.
