Good Evening,

I had problems setting up my camera via Wifi and the app. I ended up having to connect it via the Ethernet cord and downloading ipConfig. I got it to work and was able to see my camera. I had to leave for work so I thought that it would be good to go and I would be able to see my camera either by the browser on my computer or app however it is not showing up. Any idea to be able to get it to work?

I have the serial number to the camera, I also did change the password to the camera from admin to one of my choosing however I am still not able to find a way to log in with that info to be able to see my camera.

What remote device are you using to see cameras from home? If you using android or Apple mobile devices. If you use amcrest view pro. Which uses P2P or peer to peer. And you need to use Browser on your computer to login to cameras and make sure P2P is checked. Download and install from google play store or if Apple the iTunes store. If your using a computer away from home to remote view your home. You have to make sure you have assigned a local static ip address for each camera on your network and also make sure your cameras are set for static ip again in the browser on your computer to login to cameras. Your going to have to find out what the current assigned local up number of camera are to log in and make changes. You can download And install ioconfig tool from amcrest website to help find what currently they are set to. And then make sure you port forward the http port that's listed in you camera setup in the connection area. To port forward you will have to log in to you router and somewhere in advanced settings, depending on what l
Kind of router. Lastly you will have to use dyndns.org or the free ddns service amcrest has. And setup a host name and follow the instructions. Once ddns is setup you will have to log back into the camera or router and look for ddns area and fill in the information you just setup. This way you want ip, that's the ip address you isp assigns to you every time your modem connects to Internet if you don't have a static. Then when your away from home and want to use a pc to check your cameras a example path that you would need to right down and remember after you set ddns up. After ddns host is created example path to remotely access camera. Http:somename.dyndns.org:33334 note the colon and the number after the colon . This number is the http number you setup and forwared. You can also use owlr software that's on google play and Apple for remote view on your mobile devices too but you need port forward working for this app to work correctly. Hope This helps a little.
