Can not figure out why my camera does not record everything or sometimes does not record at all. I do instant playback and it shows me walking out side with my puppies and cutting off immediately after closing door. 5 minuets later it does not record me walking back into my house.

Have you set up general recording or only motion detection? If only motion detection is set up you can try adjusting the sensitivity/threshold level to reach the best configuration. If the threshold is on the higher side it will skip flash movements.

Also you can try using the pre record option under Video detection settings. This will start recording a few seconds prior to the motion trigger.
