IP3M-941B

I have purchased one IP3M-941B. I have two questions:
1. I currently set the camera up via wifi using my tablet. A few days later I downloaded the IP Config software and connect the camera up to the router via an ethernet cable. I made some adjustments and all is well except when i disconnect the ethernet cable from the camera, the light on the back of the camera blinks red and sometimes green however I cannot access the camera on my tablets. Any idea what I may be doing wrong?
2. When using the IP config software and on playbook mode, if I try to do a one hour or two hour video playbook using the one hour or two hour icons, it doesn't seem to work and start playing back from the beginning of the day. Again what might I be doing for this not to work correctly
