No Video

I have 3 IP3M POE cameras running and sometimes when I playback motion detect videos there are no videos the bar tracks across with time, could it be because all 3 cameras are recording when one of them gets triggered. How do I change it to only record on camera that has motion instead of all 3 at same time.
