Yet another problem....After setting you the motion detection area "many times" "And save it in both areas of the menus" it will stay the way I set it up any were from 6-8 hours or just a few Min. It will ALWAYS go back to the exact same "defaut" ? pattern. I don't understand why the detection pattern keeps reverting back to the same pattern!
Any Idea's?

Thanks!
Dino

I have the same problem, my patterns change back to old patterns and the threshold number goes back to old values too

Thanks, I forgot to mention the thresholds also changes back to the same "Default?" settings on mine, Also sometimes the video resolution/frame rate ETC. will also change back to a default values. There is something very flaky with these camera's or sofware/firmware. its a shame because the camera seems well built and has clear video. I have some other brand cameras and I NEVER have to fuss with them once I have them setup.

Thanks!

Hello Dino ,

Have you added the cameras to Amcrest cloud service? If so the settings in cloud takes precedence over the cameras web UI.

Melvin, I see what your talking about on the cloud settings, Since there doesn't seem to be a accurate way of setting the area's, Just dragging the window without the options of selecting "Around Objects" ETC, Can you turn off the setting that make the cloud setting not to take presidents over the camera setting, other wise it seems when I reboot the camera I must go and re-configure the region every time.

Thanks Melvin!

Hello Dino,

Apologize for the inconvenience. We are working on a fix to this issue currently.

Melvin, does the Amcrest Security Pro software also takes precedence over the camera firmware also?
Thanks!
