Hello I'm trying to start setting up my A2, I've tried booting it with VGA and HDMI. Factory reset, HDD disconnect and resets, but nothing is working. The device shows the AMCREST logo at startup then transitions to just a black screen. The monitor shows it's connected with signal , but I can only see black. No logos, menus, or anything. I tried leaving it running for about 45 minutes and still nothing. I haven't been able to access any menus, camera configurations, or anything.

Would look to see if you are able to load WebUI, if you have infact setup the NVR, if you don't know the ip can get it from IP Cam Tools from Amcrest, or off your router. If you haven't setup before then NVR might need to be replaced.
If you are not using the correct power supply I would make sure the power supply has a high enough current rating, 3amps or greater

Did you buy new? What A2 is it 8ch 16ch with or without POE?
