Firmware Upgrade for IP2M-842: Any ETA ?

Hello!
I upgraded all my IP2M-841 cameras to latest firmware. The .mp4 recording default is great and saves me having to convert it from .dav.
I also have several IP2M-842 cameras. Do you anticipate providing a similar firmware update for these models, and if so, when?

There will be updates for the IP2M-842 also but we cannot give an ETA at this moment.

I know this is an old thread, but, I see that the IP2M-841's have new firmware versions but the 842's (which I have) and still stuck to old versions back in 2016/17. What am I missing? Can I use the 841 upgrades?

The 841 and the 842 are 2 different types of cameras and the FW from the 841 wouldn't work in the 842.. The 842 was discontinued before the release of the 2019 or 2020 FW sets. Trust me I wish I had some Updated software for some Higher end cameras like my 846eb, my 850eb. But I work with what I have and buy replacements when I can if I can.
The cost of cameras from 2015 and 16 in todays market is better and cheaper then they used to be. I mean I am still using some cameras from 2011 that I paid more then I can to say. Have not had a FW upgrade since 2011.
