When accessing my cameras via the Android app on my phone, I usually get one or two "login timed out" messages and have to retry until I succeed. Recently I had to try 10 times before I got in. I realize this could be a connection bandwidth issue, but once I get in everything is fine.

Is their a parameter I could change to extend the timeout period?

not really but you could try changing streams

in app click left side then Device Manager
click device
click pencil
just above Start Live view change from extra to main or the other way that is different from now click Start Live view after change see is that helps
