Hello,

I have an Amcrest IP Camera and I am trying to stream over RTSP to a video decoder. The video decoders I have is a GV-IP DecoderBox Ultra Edition and a URayCoder H. 265 H. 264 VHD Video. I have tried both of the links below and it still wont work. Also, though the links does not work on my decoders it works on VLC. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Although I don't know anything about that device, a couple of things come to mind.

As you've had success with VLC, have you considered using that as an intermediary by using VLC's streaming abilities?

Having had a quick look at the capabilities of your device, I see that it has support for ONVIF. Have you tried using that instead of the RTSP feed?

I am trying not to use my computer as a streaming system, therefore I am trying not to use VLC for my streaming. Also how do you configure ONVIF? I have not tried that yet.

For my cameras it's in setup/network/connection/onvif to enable. TBH it's not something I've ever used but I noted in the spec of your device it was mentioned as being supported.

So, I just looked and it was already enabled. But thanks for your help!
