Camera stopped responding

I have 4 IP3M-956W dome cameras on my network that have been working normally for 2+ years. Recently 1 of the 4 stopped responding. I have power cycled it but it fails to be recognized in any of the Amcrest apps. I cannot easily access the device (installed under a soffit that is 18 ft high) but I can see that a red LED is blinking so I know it is receiving power.

Any ideas for how to diagnose and restore without getting an extension ladder and taking the camera inside?

Thanks.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum

Sadly not sure what the issue is other then maybe something to do with the Camera not having a Static IP and the IP that you had it setup as is no longer it's IP..

If your using Win10 Presss the Windows Key next to the Control button, then at the same time pressing the Windows Key press R Then Type in cmd this will bring you to a Command Prompt. now type in arp -a or arp -g and this will list the IPs on your netwrok don't worry about 224 IP addresses and things outside of your LAN ip range. So your looking for something maybe like this

Say it was 10.1.1.122, 10.1.1.123,10.1.1.124 and so on for your cameras but now you have your normal ones listed and maybe one is 192.168.1.108 or something that isn't normal. Or maybe it is one that is lower or higher number in your range but not the one that it used to be maybe it is now 10.1.1.10 or something So you will know also if it is your camera because of the Mac address that it will list in the same Mac range like 4c:11:bf or 9c:8e:cd... Those are the start of the Mac for older and newer ip cameras.
