I have 3 Amcrest ProHD IP Cameras and 2 of the 3 keep rebooting randomly. The two cameras that are rebooting are IP2M-844E & IP2M-842E. They both keep rebooting anywhere from 1 -3 times a day. The logs show that they go down. Is there a firmware issue? I just got them so I need to know if I need to return them from a different model. The other Camera that I got is IP3M-954E and that one hasn't rebooted. They are all on the same POE switch and tried different network cables, factory reset, and different POE ports the cameras still doing the same thing. The cameras are on the most current firmware. Is there a newer firmware out there than your website?

Any update on your problems?

I have several IP2M-841 for my surveillance system. After the last firmware update few weeks ago one camera keeps rebooting continuously. I tried to reset it, but the problem remains. Waiting for tech support...

If it keeps rebooting you could try swapping the power adapter of the camera to see if that fixes the issue. If the issue persists you can go ahead and get the camera replaced under warranty.

The cameras reboot about every 22 hours and a few minutes. (Auto reboot is disabled) I did purchase a third camera to see if it was a issue with the ones I have and that one also reboots/drops connection. I did return it because the same issues. I have the same problem with the IP2M-841 camera. I don't know why the camera is rebooting itself every once in a while. I had to reset it to defaults. Now it restarts less frequently but still does. I have this camera connected to an ftp so it can save all recordings in a local server. I already checked the log under the webui and all I can see is username: system ; event: reboot with no flags whatsoever. Have you had any luck getting rid of this reboot problem ?

Fogot to mention that I also have the auto reboot settings disabled.

Try pulling the sd card. Start the cam without the SD card and see that fixes the problem It worked for me.

Try logging into them locally with their IP Addresses and set them to a Wired Default Static IP Address. This issue could be caused by the IP Addresses changing. Setting them to a Wired Static IP Address will allow then to remain more stable on the network.
