Status offline

Hello,
I have the 1080p HD DVR and I am trying to set up P2P. When I follow the instructions to enable it, status shows off line. Can someone help me with this?

Hello Skins6983 ,
1) Make sure that the DVR is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable
2) Go to the settings for the DVR from the monitor > Network > Tcp IP , select the option DHCp instead and static and save the settings. Rebboot the DVR from the main menu and try again.

I tried that multiple times without success. Any other suggestions?

Hello Skins6983,
If it does not work at all, the next option is to set up port forwarding in the router and then add the camera using the IP/Domain method. The following video guide explains port forwarding set up. You can call our support line if you cannot figure it out on your own.
