Hello, I have just installed 3 Amcrest ProHD 1080p WIFI.
They work really great when from my iPhone when using
the same network, I mean when I am at home.
It is impossible to connect to them when using a different
WIFI or LTE. If I connect to any of them I can do nothing.
Ex.pan and tilt, zoom, etc etc
So the cameras are useless for I bought for.
I would thank any help.
Thanks!!!

Same here.
I have two of these camera's and can only view them while on the same wifi network in my home... which is useless because I bought them to be able to view them remotely!!

This is an ongoing problem that AMCREST is not resolving!
Very frustrating to read all these similar threads complaining of the same thing.

What is the point of a remote viewing camera if you cannot view it remotely!?

Hello,

I can tell you for sure that there is no such known issue with getting the camera feed from 3g/4g or wifi remotely. The issue you are encountering could be because of low network connection on the phone, limited upload bandwidth at home etc. If any of you are still having issues, please contact us by phone so that we can help you out.

From what I have understood, you have to open an account with Amcrest cloud. For short term net storage it's free. Then you can login to your account, add the cameras in. Then you can view the cameras live or see events that have occurred over the previous I think 6 hours.
If you really need the cameras for security purposes, then you will need to purchase a minimum 6 day storage plan which will keep 6 days of video automatically sent to this NVR ( Net video recorder). It's is $6 for each camera to keep 6 days worth of video.
Logging in to the Amcrest cloud with a desktop system, allows you to download and keep whatever video events you need. You can then clear all media and start over another 6 days of recording. The system allows you to see your cameras live in both paid accounts or free ones.
Trying to see the camera even from another WiFi network in the same location is not going to work as the cameras are registered on install to a specific network on WiFi or Ethernet if they are hard wired.
There are 3rd party apps that will allow remote viewing, however I have not used them as for most purposes the Amcrest software has worked fine.
one of the biggest problems people experience with their cameras, is mostly due to slow upload speeds to the Internet. Here in the US, most service providers give you a decent download speed but the upload is pretty slow. With multiple cams send Hi Res video over the same network, you can find yourself waiting a long time for the live feeds to come through, especially if you have multiple cams and a slow upload speed.
Hope this helps some people

The OP main problem was "it is impossible to connect to them when using a different
WIFI or LTE."

Using WiFi: I'm assuming you're able to get online first. You should be able to use the Amcrest View app to view camera if it has been set up first or the Cloud app and connect via WIFI. Make sure the network is allowing new connections. If using "LTE" then the apps should work as well for mobile transmission but has to be network streaming first. If not then contact Amcrest tech to get it up and running.
