IP2M-842b PV_NVR won't connect to camera

Using Surveillance Pro software on Mac Pro. Live view tab connects to camera and works fine.
I'm trying to record motion triggered events on my HDD, and when I use PC-NVR tab, with the camera IP, user and password correct, it won't connect to the camera, just continually says "logging in."
Any idea's?

Hello ehkolie,
The PC NVR part of the surveillance Pro is currently not compatible with MAC OS. You can use a Windows based computer to make use of the recording feature of the software.

Hi,
I am not sure of any time frame but we do take into account feedback from customers for upgrading our system and full support for MAC would be added with future software updates.

Any idea when full support for MAC in surveillance pro will be possible? I'm disappointed in that it says on the product box the the device records to, amongst other options (cloud etc), a local PC. Evidently a MAC isn't a PC?
