Email Date/Time is Wrong!

this is my fourth request!

when my IP2M-841 detects motion it takes a snapshot and sends me an email. the date/time stamp on the email itself is off by 15 hours! So, emails that occur this second show up as an email from yesterday!

amcrest support has already acknowledged that their team is looking into this, but nothing has been done! the last firmware update was in january! january!!!

why doesn't amcrest support their products and fix very clear and obvious bugs!?!

From ipconfig programme. Click the little gear for the camera --> log in --> info --> sync camera to computer. Done. There's a YouTube video as well.

It isn't about needing to sync the camera to the computer time--I have the same exact issue where the date/time stamp displayed on the photo snapshot is correct but the email timestamp (i.e., the date/time that the email was sent) is off (behind) by 15 hours--e.g., snapshot photo has timestamp 7/12 @ 2:32 AM (correct date/time) but email timestamp for the snapshot photo shows 7/11 @ 11:32 AM.

Or are you saying that performing the sync to computer will indeed fix the email timestamp problem?

Hello all,

Our R&D is aware of the issue and they are working on it.

Melvin,
Any update on this issue?

My guess is that they don't plan on fixing it! We are just getting the run around.

Hello NeedHelp,

Did you try updating to the new firmware if you are using the 1080P indoor IP camera?

Yes, I did upgrade the firmware a few days ago and the problem still exists. The release notes don't include anything about the problem so I wasn't surprised a solution wasn't provided.

Event emails are still 12 hours off. This problem sucks and I'm very disappointed that your R&D didn't even attempt to fix it.

Maybe you could walk across the hall and ask them if they even attempted to fix it or if we are both going to get the run-around until the customer just gives up.
