Event alerts do not contain snapshot or video

Post by fortdistro »

I just purchased a Amcrest ProHD Shield 960P. I have motion detection setup and enabled. Whenever I get a motion detection alert on my Android device there is no image attached nor is there video. I have a micro SD card I am using for storage. I verified the SD card status is "normal". I also ejected it and put it back in. I have rebooted the camera and that didn't help either. Event -> Video Detection is set to Enable. Both the main stream and the sub stream are enabled. Storage -> Schedule: Motion is checked under Record Schedule, Snapshot Schedule, and Holiday Schedule. I have also ensured the settings within the Amcrest Android app are enabled (motion detect, Record, Snapshot, etc.). I am at my wits end here. What am I missing?

Software Version
2.420.AC00.15.R, build : 2016-09-08
WEB Version
3.2.1.377299
ONVIF Version
2.42

I'm having the same issues with a IP3M-956. I've been working on it for last week. I'll be lurking to see if there is a solution. Frustrated.........................

It's the newer firmware for the IP3M-956.

2.400.AC01.15.R, Build Date: 2017-03-28 <- this version is screwed up
2.420.AC00.26.R, build : 2016-08-31 <- this version works great.

I need to know where I can download 2.420.AC00.26.R, build : 2016-08-31
I desperately need to downgrade..

I just realized that I'm also no longer able to send snapshots. Does anyone know where I can get the previous version of the firmware? And, Amcrest, another stellar QA job, huh?
