IP3M-954E sends unnecessary motion alerts
My camera sends a motion email alert with snapshot(s) whenever the camera is first activated (I reboot daily). This also happens when the day to night changeover (ir light) occurs. Is this normal? Not a big deal, but can I disable the alert just for these occurrences?
Re: IP3M-954E sends unnecessary motion alerts
Hello GaryPSU ,
The camera detects motion based on the pixel changes in the image and so it might send false alerts when the IR lights kicks in or out. Also light changes can sometimes cause this. You can try adjusting the sensitivity and threshold. There is no other setting to exclude these events alone unfortunately.
