IP4M-1063EW-AI SceneChange Event

Post by shorawitzamcrest »

I'm noticing multiple times a day that the camera will move to Preset 1, then go back to the default of Preset 3. I setup a remote logging server so I could try to capture the events, but there's not enough data to say why the camera is doing this. Here are the events recorded in the 2 log files. I think #012 is the camera ID, as that is in the name of the log files:

"EventStart"#012{#012.log
"EventStart"#012{#012 "Code" : "SceneChange",#012 "Index" : 1#012}

"EventStop"#012{#012.log
"EventStop"#012{#012 "Code" : "SceneChange",#012 "Index" : 1#012}

Here is the alarm event that I receive via email as well:
Alarm Event: Scene Changing end
Alarm Input Channel: 1
Alarm Stop Time(D/M/Y H:M:S): 02/05/2021 19:34:02
Alarm Device Name: Garage-NW-PTZ
Alarm Name:
IP Address: 192.168.0.123

The camera is controlled by Blue Iris, but I'm 99% sure this was happening before I setup BI.

Hello and Welcome to the forum

So your camera is Higher Grade AI camera then mine and as such offers more options

Scene Change is a IVS option I am going to guess if within your Stack of AI things built into your Camera.. Then in the Option under Rules settings there is info for PTZ and things you can have your camera do when a setup event happens!?

So was this camera bought NEW from Amcrest or Off Amazon?

Have you tried to Reset to Factory once you bought the camera and setup the camera? Since I bought mine I have reset it now 8 times and my AI NVR around 12 times. Not because there is anything wrong with the machines just because there is loads of things that change when moving from Face Detection and Recognition back to IVS and setting up other options It is faster and easier for me to just factory Reset and start over to make sure things work smoothly from the start rather then trying to hunt down what or why something is going on...

Edit: Also I did notice a 7second delay in a motion event when the Pack Duration is reached Normal factory setup is 8min maybe making that longer then the 8 min to 10 or 15min might make it a better recording time..
Factory Reset is what I would do and set up your camera the way you want from scratch is where I would personally start...
Right click open to new tab to see full size view of the image..
