Auto Maintain > Auto Delete Old Files

I have a IP8M-2493E with the latest firmware sending continuous video to my FreeNAS via NFS.
When i log into my Amcrest camera and select Auto Delete Old Files and set that to 7 days it ignores and keeps on saving well passed 7 days.

Is this setting only if you use onboard Card for storage or should this work for NFS as well.

If it works for NFS what username/password is it using to access my NFS and what UID and GID is it using maybe its a permission issue

I am not sure it works on your method of recording... I know that the newer FW it deletes off FTP and off the MSD... The older FW don't auto delete even though to option to is there... So I am going to maybe guess if it does normally work for your method maybe your FW is older then the ones that do work... Sadly some people that have talked about them leaving folders and directory info but delete the files inside them so that might be the case for you as well. Seeing the days and times did you see the files are still in the folders?

Just guesses I don't know how it would work for your type camera..
