Anyone know if it's possible to SSH into the camera and run scripts to remotely configure settings?
I prefer to enable/disable the Motion Detect setting manually but not through the webpage/app if possible to reduce data usage when remotely configuring.

I don't know any camera or DVR/NVR system that uses Secure Shell? Programming remotely or even locally would take less data then streaming any part of video from the camera.
