Hi all,
I have noticed that my settings in Amcrest Surveillance Pro do not seem to be functioning as they say. I have the recording being saved for 30 days (in general settings), but when I go to the save path there is video dating back to June. Even more confusing, in Playback I can see videos from February. I have allocated 700GB of a 1TB HDD for recording, which is set to overwrite old recordings when the drive is full. So my questions are:
1) Why do my general settings not work properly?
2) If general settings do not function properly, how can I be sure that the overwrite will occur properly when the allocated space on the drive is full?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,

Re: Record Storage and Overwrite Help
Update:
1) No longer a problem
2) In the pc-nvr allocation (where I have 700GB allocated) the option to overwrite recordings when the drive is full is selected. However when I go to the drive I see that there are only 60 GB remaining (of the 1TB).
***Does the "when drive is full" get confused that the drive is not full, rather the allocated portion of the drive?***
Why does Amcrest Surveillance Pro continue to write to this HDD when it has surpassed its allocated space? How do I stop this from happening?
